GEXR 580 is running a few hours ahead of schedule, ensuring they'll be home for Christmas, having arrived at Kitchener to yard train and go home at 12:30 PM.
Taking full advantage of the new CTC, the crew had to throw no switches to cross into the siding, having been lined by the RTC, once they cleared the plant, switching feature was activated and a light into the yard via the siding was presented to the conductor riding the tail end into the yard.

As alluded, in two years this station SHOULD close and move a half mile west once ION LRT is completed.
