The Lakefield station in its second life as a bookstore. This station had a cameo in the 1977 movie Ragtime Summer. The film was later renamed Age of Innocence. The scene featured a gas-electric doodlebug arriving at the the station. In those pre-internet days we had no idea this was going on!

  1. Scorsese shot there? This was the old sub to Peterborough that’s now completely torn up.

  2. Not the 1993 Scorsese one. Different movie, almost the same name. The rails were lifted around 1990.
