There were many people on the platform waiting to board the car for the trip south. Maybe even as far as Victoria. If I had taken this picture in the summer VIA would have two cars on the train. In the background you can see a CP locomotive sitting there. That would be CP 5015 & behind it would be one of the two CP twins, CP 5000.
