At a time when CP was short of power CGW F7 150 and CP RS-3 8449 power an eastbound at Bowmanville. The same day, June 22/66, MLW S-2 7093 was used on the Trenton way freight. Yard engines were rare this far out on the mainline and likely an unpopular idea with the crew.

    CGW = Chicago Great Western, later merged with Chicago & Northwestern.
