I Guess we can call this a "Fallen Flag" In happier days for the Island Railway VIA RDC1's 6133 and 6135 depart the Palmer-Fort Victoria flag stop with the "Malahat". This is train 299 the Sundays northbound from Victoria to Courtenay. The service was suspended in 2011, 6135 was reasigned by VIA and 6133 sold to Industrial Rail Services in Moncton, NB.

    Happily, 6133 was just recently saved from the scrapper (who is cutting up all of IRSI’s RDC’s) by Rapido Trains!
