We're east of Clinton at an elevator owned by Cargill, extra 581 is giving 'er eastbound at track speed with salt loads. Due to a problem at the mine, salt is or was being trucked from the mine to seaforth for loading, and Compass Minerals paid for a rare extra switch on a Saturday. The crew ran straight to Seaforth from Stratford, lifted loads, set off empties, and ran to Clinton to wye the entire train before heading back to Stratford.

  3. Nice shot. And yeah, lens corrections are pretty understandable at this location. I was finding it to be a tough shot yesterday!
