"Hooping" orders was once such a common sight in railroading, and apparently it is still needed even in today's modern world. A westbound local briefly stops at Woodstock, while the daily Ontario Southland run switches cars at the interchange. The mix of multiple generations of EMD locomotives here was also a nice change from the countless number of GE locomotives that usually pass through town.

  1. Those look more like hazmat papers!

  2. Is it just me or has the CP torn out some yard trackage?

  3. The north service track has been gone for a few years now, no rail served customers here (at the yard) anymore, some industries have been torn down.
