With 50 cars in tow, OSR has to make two cuts to bring their cars into Woodstock yard, in this photo OSR is bringing their second cut across Carew diamond while their flagship FP9A is reflected in the shiny rails of the CNR Dundas subdivision. Despite the rapidly clouding weather I got lucky with the sun on this trip!

  1. And lucky enough to not have gotten caught by police for being on the tracks like this!

    But man…still…what a shot!

  2. Todd, I shot at a grade crossing from the sidewalk. while technically trespassing to stand inside a grade crossing, its probably the most kosher place to be for a photo. And clearly, there were no other trains coming :)

  3. powerful image there…Mr Stephen.,.you’ll have to teach me your tricks of the trade one day :)

  4. Thanks Snake. No walmart involved for this one. :)

  5. yeah you suck..

  6. Now now Joe. :) Let’s be nice please :)

  7. Right sorry, where are my manners, Sir Richard ;)

  8. Now go see the nice Hagersville photo by Mr. Mooney. You were away for it young man.

  9. Who is “Sir Richard”?

  10. Sweet scene, Stephen. Great colour. I’m envious.

  11. Earl, thank you. I am envious of many of the photos you’ve shared here, but I don’t have a time machine to go back and get them. This OSR stuff happens every day :) Looking forward to seeing more of your work, it is far more interesting to me than this :)

  12. PHEW!!! Glad to know it was the level crossing there. If rp.ca gave out awards for most deceptive photos – yours would most definitely take the cake!

  13. thanks :) I also used a telephoto lens. this is what happens when you put it right on the rail and zoom in. would not be possible otherwise.

  14. That is very nice!

  15. Very nicely done!!!

  16. thanks gang!

  17. Wow! Awesomely done!

  18. Thank you Brad.
