A late winter ice storm has allowed one last chance to shoot in a winter wonderland before spring weather arrives, and with slim pickings over the winter of 2015/2016 for snow in my locale, this was most appreciated. Also appreciated was the chance to shoot a 412 with CN 5454 and 5777 as power. And I have it on good word that the hogger on this train was thrilled to have the SD60 leading, appreciating the smooth and reliable power those used motors provide. Everybody wins, lol. 1314hrs.

  2. Heh, the sarcasm in my caption may have been to subtle… the hogger would probably rather lead with anything else ;)

  3. The hogger could be just delusional because of the fumes that get into the cab everytime you operate these old hand me downs..LOL They are great to photograph by awful to run!

  4. This reminds me why I live in Florida. Wonderful image… very nicely done, Sir!

  5. Maybe the conductor doesn’t like SD60′s and didn’t win? :-V
