Caption: The "Strathconas" locomotive has it's inspection at the shop underway. It was built in 2011 and is the only unit to carry the coat-of-arms of Lord Strathcona's Horse Regiment.

    Was that applied by GE or by CP? The Musical Ride units were applied by GE.

    Not sure, being a one off I’m tempted to say CP but couldn’t get confirmation from everyone I asked.

    Only way we will know is from GE, unless someone can solve this riddle. Builder’s photos might shed some light. If it’s not on that, it was applied by CP. If it is, it was applied by GE. I can see GE doing a one off on an ES44AC.
