Conductor Dave Lucas has ushered all the passengers back on board the train but still has to walk back to the rear of the train before giving me the flag to go so I take the brief opportunity to vacate my seat and take a few quick shots before we return to Rotary Village Station on the first run of the first day of the 2016 "Steam Season" on the HLBR. The rain and lees than warm temperatures didn't dampen spirits on this Canada Day, just made the steam condense more and hang in the air longer, adding to the ambiance of the image.
