I spent far too little time at the downtown Edmonton rail sites. There was a CP and CN yard to the west of this location. VIA ran through the CN yard before turning due north to regain the Edson Sub for points west. CP used the High Level bridge to interchange with CN in the downtown yard. All missed, even though I would bike by these on a daily basis.
I did catch the westbound "Super Continental" at the station a couple days before Christmas, though. I do not recall even looking to see whether the "Skeena" was in tow.
