My wife and I took the Super Continental to Jasper one day. The trip was made much longer than scheduled because CN's CTC was down. We arrived very late into Jasper and the sun was already behind the mountains. But I saw this Speno rail grinding train parked near the station, and decided to take a couple shots. It would be a few more years before I would get a chance to see one in action.
We rode the Super home the next day - not much to do in Jasper without wheels.
