There are problems with chasing a northbound train, in particular, it is difficult to shoot into the sun. At Clyde the tracks made a sweeping curve to the left, which at least gave a slightly more pleasing view of the train. 
In December, in Alberta, however, there is the problem with little daylight altogether. We could not chase this train all the way to Athabasca, but we would get one more shot.
