Although I did not hear it on the radio, I am virtually certain that this is train #218. The Tank cars and auto racks are pretty much a dead giveaway. 
Carvel is an interesting spot in that there is a large, relatively tight S curve in the tracks, some useful topography and nice scenery. On top of that, it is less than an hour outside Edmonton. This view is from the highway bridge, looking west. The train is wrapped around the curve to the south. Just out of frame, the curve reverses and the tracks continue west.
