After a few months of the former 'Espee' unit; GEXR 3054 leading GEXR 432, I was pleased this morning to find a matched pair of venerable EMD SD40-2's on the point of this rather short, 22 car, 432. Although theses units are not former CP Rail units, with all the SD40-2 retirements, these beauts are survivors.

  1. Great shot!

    It’s 23 cars tho! LOL!!

Funny thing, you mentioned CP….these units spent a great deal of time leased to CP, the Bridge Line mostly, back on the 90′s!

  2. Thanks RLK! What was this Bridge Line the units ran on?

  3. The Bridge Line was the division of CP that was the Delaware and Hudson (D&H).

  4. Interesting. Thanks for the info!

  5. RLHH 3403 is ex CP on the SOR!
