  1. The stainless steel cars are the best. I hope they will be around a lot longer. The cars in the shot are not the original CP cars, but who cares!

  2. Except that these are all ex-US cars rebuilt as part of the HEP2 program. There isn’t one ex-CP cars in this consist.

  4. @Dave? Was there a point to be made? Yes they are 60 years old.

  5. What does it say about Canada’s interest in a passenger rail system that we’re still wandering the woods with 60 year old equipment? What was once a pretty decent rail system for such a large country has all but vanished; I find that very sad. Nothing more than that.
