Caption: This photo (3rd of series) captures the first rail car inbound delivery to the Railview Trans Load facility serviced by siding #33 Hagersville Sub. With RLHH 3403 in the lead, RLK 4057 became the first locomotive to roll its wheels onto the new siding on July 5th, 2015 at 7:45 p.m. These two familiar power units dropped RLHH 597 south of town prior to spotting the single car loaded with millet placing one bay directly over the pit. The contents of RLOX 60233 would be conveniently and quickly transloaded the next day into three trucks for Armstrong Milling Co. Ltd, Nelles Corners (Supplier of Canada's Premier Bird Feed). In the foreground, siding #40 veers off of the main to the right and in the far background an interesting relic continues to rust away amidst undergrowth. It is a lonely memory from years past and reportedly last used for storage purposes. The relic has an interesting / older type undercarriage and one can still albeit barely make out the 1943 CN logo that of a superimposed tilted wafer with wording Serves All Canada on a maple leaf (probably white in the day). It must be seen close up to be appreciated as all is lost / rust in a photo. Lots of rail related activiey in Hagersville these days!
