VIA Rail F40PH class unit 6400 and a string of LRC cars make up today's train #43, slowing to make its stop at Napanee Station. This is the only scheduled west bound stop at Napanee.

The old stone station was originally built by CN predecessor Grand Trunk Railway in 1856. It is a classic structure that has changed very little in the 160 odd years since it was built, and is still in use today by VIA Rail.

  1. Great Shot. Captured quite a bit in this photo from the 90′s…the power, the clothing styles of the few on the platform, AND how the water tower used to look before it became the Greater Napanee Area of the late 90′s.
