Canadian National U2g Northern 6218, CN's southern Ontario steam excursion star after 6167 passed the torch to her in 1964, gives fantrip attendees an impressive smoke show during a runby on the Fergus Sub at Harrisburg, in September 1970.This section of the Fergus Sub from Lynden to Galt was abandoned in the 1980s, and CN "Bullet-nosed Beatty" 6060 would take over for 6218 in excursion service a few years later.

  1. A great, easily maintained locomotive which fell on hard times, and may be beyond restoration today.
