Wrong leader. I seem to have a knack of running into SD70/75i's on CN in this period, and to me they were the GEVO of their day. Boring, I preferred the turbocharged 645's of 5316 trailing. Train 582 is heading south on the Talbot sub headed for St Thomas - back when 582 used six axle power and they ran two jobs per day to St. Thomas from London. Predictable as it was, 582 departed around noon usually for St Thomas and the evening job was usually just after dark.

  1. Those were the good old days. Plus the locals in St Thomas and the NS trains and it was a day well spent. At least we still have our memories:) I don’t make it down that way much anymore. Just too depressing.

  2. Six to eight trains a day on the Talbot sub back then.

    Now just two.
