Splitting the pre-CTC signals. Until the summer of 2014 CP's Vaudreuil Sub between Dorval and Dorion was governed by OCS/ABS regulations and this pair of searchlight signals stood just east of a pedestrian overpass in Beaconsfield. Here in great light a pair of GP38-2's and a caboose bracket three tank cars as the Dorion Turn splits the signals. The signal at right is lit for an eastbound which will pass in a couple of minutes. The entire Vaudreuil Sub is now CTC and these signals are now gone.
