Another one of the Canadian National Museum Train steam engines was CNR 4-4-0 40. Originally build by the Portland Locomotive Company for the Grand Trunk Railway in 1872, it toured with other steam engines on the museum train in the 1960's before being sent to the Canada Science and Technology Museum in Ottawa where it resides today. Visible behind 40 is CNR steamer 247.
