Before today's higher speed switches and triple track an eastbound led by SD40-2W 5314 rolls off the Dundas Sub and on to the Oakville while heavy snow falls. There's even a maintainer on hand to help keep the switches clear of snow.

  1. Actually the speed through those switches i 1998 is the same as it is today. The track configuration has of course changed, but the speed through the Bayview plant are still 40mph.
