  1. OMG Richard. When visiting my Mom in Kelowna this was my favourite part of the whole drive, taking Hwy 97 from Hwy 1 to Vernon. Was lucky enough a couple of times to see the train making its way north to Kamloops. Is the big Canadian Flag still up on the hill? Big thanks for posting this shot, jeez do I love this piece of country.

  2. Well I have to agree with your comments on that drive as we always go that way when heading to Vancouver! The flag is still there above the little village of Falkland and is a pretty well known landmark I think. Glad you enjoyed the photo..will have to post a couple more from that area.
