  2. I keep coming back to this picture. The golden glow, not much snow on the mountain slopes. There are these indicators that, although it is the middle of November, the weather is pretty nice. Except the one giveaway. The front coupler is showing that it actually battled winter a few hours ago as the train made its way through Rogers Pass. Excellent picture Richard.

  3. I think that you are right in that it was one of those days when the presence of the sun made for some pleasant conditions. It seems to me that it must have passed through a pretty good drift along the way. Thanks for the comment.
