A shot I've wanted to attempt for quite some time, and with OBRY just clear of the CN diamond in Brampton I hiked my way up the side of highway 401 to wait for the twice a week train. The industry to the left is the main reason why CP has retained the trackage to this point, unfortunately the warehouse to the right appears to be not receiving rail service anymore. This day the OBRY was unfortunately running as light power to Streetsville, and is seen entering trackage rights over CP to Streetsville Junction.

  1. Both buildings were at one point the same customer, perhaps they’ve consolidated to west side of the tracks.

    Great shot!

  2. Maybe that explains the boxcars being unloaded in the background.
