I only chased the Chaleur twice and both occasions were this week in 2001. I was in the area for 4 days with my Dad and we had gorgeous weather and enough trains to keep us occupied almost the entire time. The Chaleur is approaching its stop at Perce on the return from Gaspe to Matapedia. Perce station is not actually in Perce town as the rail line heads inland and across the peninsula before reaching Perce.

This was a great chase but I still haven't forgotten about the beautiful pair of Serengetti sunglasses I lost here, somewhere in the tall grass!

  1. I think you mean Quebec… not Ontario.

  2. Right you are!
