And a rare scene - helpers are shoving a train east on the Beach subdivision after stalling on the grade and blocking traffic in downtown Burlington for hours. Those who were here for this event haven't forgotten. All of this track was lifted by 1980 and service on the Beach sub was severed to a spur when the traffic circle/crossing with the QEW was replaced with modern bridges (still in place) in the 1960's.
