In light of recent news that CN has retired their SD60F fleet, I was prompted to go through my photos on this sight to see which ones I've uploaded. This shot I had resized to upload here but for some reason I never did. I recall I had missed this train in Brantford, but thankfully 331 worked Paris West daily so I opted to go for a drive. (see below for Arnold Mooney "lunch hour" comment...) It's interesting that the second unit, CN 2026, acquired second-hand from the UP, soldiers on while the SD60Fs are being retired.

  3. CN did not retire them, they are being sent for refurb

  4. Ahh, no they are not being refurbished. They will run them into the ground until they are no longer needed.

  5. Has there been any SD60F sightings lately?

  6. This unit is one of 15 SD60Fs recently purchased by the Aberdeen, Carolina & Western Railway.
