For a few years around the early 1990s I shot at this location fairly regularly. It was close to home, accessible but quiet and most days I would see 2-3 eastbounds in a morning. The only minor negative was that there was no way what track a train would be on. You usually got a little bit of warning that a train was coming and then just had to be ready to adjust quickly to whatever track it was on.
