Three "big Cs" throttle up as CN train 308 crosses the interlocking with CP Rail and leaves the St. Hyacinthe sub (on the left) to enter the Drummondville sub. Prior to the St. Lawrence Region dispatch consolidation project in early 1990, the Operator-Leverman in St. Hyacinthe controlled 4.6 miles of CTC between Ste. Rosalie
(mile 38.7) and Douville (mile 43.3), coordinating movements with the Drummondville, St. Hyacinthe and Sherbrooke sub Rail Traffic Controllers (Dispatchers) as well as local switchers.
