GEXR 431 races across the flatlands east of New Hamburg at a brisk 10mph or so. Wide open embankment with sun is nice, slow order where I was trying to decide between two places to shoot, jackpot... got both. QGRY 6908, GEXR 3054, GEXR 3394. 1654hrs.

  1. Iain, it is indeed just before the bridge… the flanger sign gives it away.

  2. LP, it was hot but not as unbearable as usual thanks to less humidity. The shop guys spent a few hours tinkering with the 3054 at Stratford once train was yarded. Had doors largely closed when they departed, but then again, the power was also shut down.

  3. Nice shot. Is this right before the overpass?

  4. Looks like they are giving the 3054 some extra air with the hood doors open. Weatherman here says you people are having quite a heat wave. Good looking photo Mike. :-)
