What does the future hold for SOO 6027? Shopped for losing water it was discovered that 2 power assemblies were demolished causing internal engine damage and some slight external block damage. This most likely means the end of the SOO LINE paint.

  1. I saw 6027 on it’s trip on CP 142 in Welland a couple weeks ago. I wanted to get a photo of it but it was pitch black and raining with weeds everywhere. Oh well, at least I saw it one last time.

  2. Looks like you and Steve are on the same 6027 wavelength today. :-)
With 2 assemblies damaged, this must have been a rough running engine before shutdown.
