Here's something new - OSR's newest arrival.. from Salford, 644 is paired with 1591 as the boys switch AOC. Two units were transferred to Guelph - 644 and 182 - while 8235 and 1210 were sent to Salford. Long live MLW/ALCO - your chances of finding it in Guelph have increased dramatically. Unfortunately, the pairs of gp9's are over, for now. But you just might find a pair of M420's soon....
Note: I'm not a fan of M420's - too asymmetrical for my liking. But some people are gaga for them.. snake?? is that you I hear slithering to Guelph? :)

Caption: Here's something new - a well timed suckerhole allowed me to photograph OSR's newest arrival in sun. Transferred from Salford, 644 is paired with 1591 as the boys switch AOC. Two units were transferred to Guelph - 644 and 182 - while 8235 and 1210 were sent to Salford. Long live MLW/ALCO - your chances of finding 251 powered equipment in Guelph have increased dramatically. Unfortunately, the pairs of gp9's are over, for now. But you just might find a pair of M420's soon....

  1. Ha… neat detail. A banana eh…. :) 644′s been getting a good workout, it’s been on the train most days since I photographed it paired with 1591 or an RS-23.

  2. A free banana to anyone who can tell me why 644 has it’s number in 2 different locations ??? [ Hint - it was marked this way before OSR bought it ]

  3. I remember seeing 644 switching Suncor in Clarkson! Nice one.

  4. Awesome shot Steve !

  6. Hmmmm…It’s a Thursday…you must of been on hour lunch hour…Eh Steve?
