CN's local L514 always seems to be a surprise...no matter how you try to capture it. Despite the poor weather, there was reason enough to come out and photograph it as a venerable old pair of zebra stripes were on point in 4717 and 4114. Old horses, old and rustic looking grain cars along with a line that was once mighty. It doesn't get any better than this!

  1. Surprised to see 2 units on this assignment, is this due to extra tonnage to/from WGT in Blenheim?

  2. Although roughly 20 years newer, the 4717 looks 20 years older than the 4114. I want to say “time for some paint” but any Zebra stripes are better than none. :-)
