Blast off! Just west of New Hamburg, GEXR 582 is nearly finished crossing over the Highway 7 overpass, at the time restricted to 10 MPH... track speed from here to Stratford is 55? 60? MPH. Can you imagine the sound of these four axle beauties getting up to speed? Try catching up to them - good luck, it's almost impossible unless you don't mind going all the way to Stratford or beyond. My next stop after this was St. Marys if this gives you any indication to just how fast a good GEXR hogger can peg 'er at. The line west of Stratford is considerably slower.
