Caption: Ex SOO SD60 #6037 is now rebuilt as CP 6301 and poses alongside former SOO SD60M 6061 now CP 6261. Note the louvers that have been added to the air compressor doors of the 6301 that are not on the 6200 series rebuilds(just ahead of the 6261's front).

  1. I assume locomotive air compressors run off electrical power(?) I understand the prime mover is diesel.

  2. The compressor runs off the diesel engine via a driveshaft.
