The weekend proved to be spectacular, having the sunshine again to photograph in after a very gloomy winter. However, all would not end up well for VIA Rail the next day as one of their own did not make it's scheduled stop in Chatham. But that didn't matter this day, as evidenced by the snowbank I was standing on to capture the friendly wave of the engineer as VIA 6406 cruises into Chatham with train 71 a little after 10am.
