On a snow-less day during the winter of 1984-85, an interesting consist idles at the TH&B Chatham Street roundhouse in Hamilton--B&O GP38 4800, CP RS18 8776, and GP30 5000! Back in the mid-1980s, a visit to the roundhouse was almost always worth the time.

  1. There’s a good chance this power was for the Goderich Job. That B&O unit made a few trips up there.It wasn’t unusual to have 3 units in winter.
