CBQ 944 was repeat visitor, I saw it 3 different times ( but not this day), so it was seemingly “stuck” in the pool !
What was the extra signal head for?
On cn they were usually white lunar signals for designating next track not the one in front of you.
The signal to the right of the mast ( as seen by an approaching train) was the indicator for train orders and/or messages, to be delivered by the Operator/Leverman in the tower, using the hi-speed delivery hoops.
