Remanufactured GP38-2 GMTX 2254 in fresh paint is paired with CN 4784, a GP38-2W. They are paused in between switching moves in Aldershot Yard, near Waterdown Road bridge. Behind them is the roadway providing access to Aldershot GO/VIA Station, its north parking lot, and Hwy 403 east.
A web search indicated that GMTX 2254 was originally an EMD GP38AC built 11/1971 as blue GTW 5810, transferred to Central Vermont as CV 5810, then left the CN family. Said to have become LLPX 2217 (painted in UP colours).

  1. The CN unit could do with a repaint. ;) Love these Blue units.
