CP RS18 8800 is pictured trailing on a freight passing through Guelph Junction. Unit 8800 was the last MLW RS18 built for CP and the only one in the 8800-series (8729-8800), competed and delivered in July 1958. CP started rebuilding and chop-nosing their fleet of 251-powered RS18's in the early 1980's, and 8800 was cycled into the shops in 1985, completed, and emerged renumbered as 1831.

  1. This RS-18 seems to have a different exhaust stack from CP’s other RS-18s.
