    Also check out that structure located RIGHT where the current OSR/GJR office is – what was this used for in this day? Ray? anyone?

  3. The end of two tracks was somewhere in the vicinity of this photo, before it was extended to the crossing & later west of the crossing when CTC was installed. That signal cantilever is quite interesting too.

  4. Ronald that makes sense, it looks like the train is crossing over to the south track here. Seems odd they’d have a crossover at this location!

  5. I believe that he’s coming off the singe track & onto the double track at this point.They used to have a spring switch where the tracks split further west, not sure about here but I’d guess yes. Prior to the installation of CTC for the GO service in 1981(?)we had a “current of traffic” east of Guelph Jct and unless subject to special orders, trains kept to the right side in their Direction of Travel.
