A three-way meet is shown at Hardy (just west of Brantford at Mile 24.9 CN Dundas Sub): CN GP9 4100 and an FPB4 head an eastbound passenger train crossing over from the north to the south track, as a westbound freight lead by three CN GP9's waits on the north track, and an eastbound freight (with what looks to be an SD40 leading) waits on the south track just past the crossing. A pair of workers watch the scene by their orange CN van parked near the signal bungalow.

  1. What a great photo! I love the action and how rural it looks compared to today.

  2. Awesome photo! Do you happen to have any shots from that era of trains on the Burford sub, Waterford sub, or LE&N in brantford? I have been trying for years to find some
