At the start of 2018, if someone had said that I would have the chance to photograph an active CP SD40-2 again I would have had my doubts. Well, flash forward to summer and having just arrived in Parry Sound on a family vacation, putting aside some time to witness one of these iconic GMD's leading a northbound was an easy decision. CP 6062 and 3042 are viewed leading an empty northbound Herzog ballast train, destined for Sudbury, under historic Tower Hill and onto the 1695 foot CP trestle bridge over the Seguin River and the Parry Sound harbour. Thank you to Stephen C Host for the heads-up and the information on this train that day.
