After the station stop in downtown Edmonton, the train back to East Junction, where it acquires the main line. It will then continue west.
The Sun seems to have melted a significant amount of ice from the sides of the train.
The grain cars may have been delivered to an small elevator behind my position.

  2. Maybe that is how they separated
    The expensive seats from the cheap seats ;-)
    In previous years, if the Skeena ran, it was tucked on to be back of the Canadian, or perhaps it was the Super Continental at the time. That is not the case here, though.
    It seems like a pretty long train for February.
    Bottom line. I have no idea what is going on here. Sorry

  3. The first five cars coach, Skyline, Manor sleeping cars are deadheading. The regular consist trails the baggage.
