A CN TEST Track Evaluation System train was proceeding west on the Oakville Sub, beyond Aldershot Yard at 9:11 EDT on "9/11".
It was heading to Hamilton and the Grimsby Sub. Odd that the mp33 detector reported 19 axles.
The lead engine, ES44dc CN 2274 had a rectangular box on its front hood (resembling an outdoor security camera) and a dashcam-like device inside the left cab window.
The modified boxcar is CN 414852 "DGRMS Test Car". The TEST Track Evaluation System coach is CN 1057.
Both have CN Engineering emblems.

  1. CN 1057 TEST has had a good long life at CN. Built new by NSC in 1959 as CN 21, Class PV-79-D, 79′ 0″ Business Car. It was later renumbered CN 99, then CN 96 Louis Jolliet, then CN 1057 Louis Jolliet, before being converted to its current Track Evaluation System configuration.
