Five or more years after VIA retired it, MLW FPA-4 VIA 6788 lingers on private track in Lachine.  
The paint is weather faded, and a climbing plant is growing up the back of the locomotive. 
An inverted Blomberg truck is on the flatcar to its left, while retired F9B VIA 6617 is to its right.  
As I recall, the loco was in the grounds of Canadian Allied Diesel; it was visible from the road. 
I believe the embankment behind carries CP's Adirondack Sub, with the Lachine Canal and then CP's Seaway bridge some distance to the right.
