Caption: Back in the mid-1990's when we would railfan London, the first place we always drove by was the busy GMDD plant, as you never knew what would be sitting out front of the facility. Two days before Christmas in 1994 we were given an early gift, as we caught GMDD SW1001 117 switching several new locomotives in various stages of production outside the usually locked gates of the plant at Oxford Street.
